  • Tim Mensing - Lead Pastor

    Tim founded TBCC in 2008. He worked previously as a Youth Pastor for 20 years at the same church and received most of his theological training from Kings College & Seminary.

    Tim was born in 1955 in Washington state. Tim married his high school sweetheart (Darla) while stationed in the Army at Ft. Lewis, Washington in 1975. Tim and his wife, Darla, have 6 children, born between 1975 & 1994 (Jakob, Rachael, Bethany, Moriah, Josiah & Luke).

    Favorite Movies: Bourne Identity (trilogy) & National Treasure

    Favorite Restaurants: In-N-Out Burger and La Mexicana

    Favorite Hobby: Metal Detecting (Finding Lost Things)

  • CourTney Perales - Sunday School Team Leader

    Courtney is a native to the Central Coast and has lived in Paso Robles most of her life. As a highschooler, Courtney developed a love for children and their families while on her first mission trip to an orphanage in Mexico.  She later graduated from San Jose State University where she studied Spanish, and also spent a semester abroad in Mexico. She met her best friend while attending her high school youth group and later married him in September of 2008. Jeremy and Courtney were overjoyed at the arrival of their firstborn son, Gunner, in August of 2013.

    Courtney's favorite things include:  serving Jesus, holding hands with her husband, making her son laugh, movie nights with friends, summers at the lake with her family, kisses & hugs from Gunner and photographing people.


    Favorite verse: Jeremiah 17:7-8

    "But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
    whose confidence is in him.
    They will be like a tree planted by the water
    that sends out its roots by the stream.
    It does not fear when heat comes;
    its leaves are always green.
    It has no worries in a year of drought
    and never fails to bear fruit."
