at The Bridge.

Sunday Morning Programs:

Wee Ones

Wee Ones is offered at the start of service that provides a safe & playful space for little ones to be loved on by our qualified volunteers.  Our volunteers pray, sing worship songs, have story time, do simple crafts and play with your child.

Faith Finders

Ages: 3 - 5 years old/Pre-school Aged

Faith Finders is an exciting class inspiring little hearts and minds to be lovers of Jesus.  Our trained volunteers present the gospel through creative children’s curriculum titled Elevate Jr. Faith Finders are taught the Gospel in applicable ways, whether it be how to be a better friend or how to share about the gift of Jesus with those around them.  Faith Finders is offered at the start of service.

God’s Kids

Ages: Elementary School Aged

God’s Kids is an interactive class that begins at the start of service. Our skilled & caring volunteers use a variety of fun and energetic methods that help kids learn and grow.  Teachers are focused on equipping God’s Kids with the tools they need to flourish in their relationships with family, friends and God.

Family Room (in the main lobby)

We welcome one and all to take advantage of our Family Room - whether you just need to stand up and walk around, or you have an antsy child that needs to move around.  The Family Room has a TV that plays the message in real time so you don’t miss a beat.

What We Teach

CURRICULUM

We believe parents are designated by God to be the primary spiritual leaders in the family, and we are here to partner with you to support, help and supplement your teaching as we pray for each child to become an authentic disciple of Jesus.

The curriculum we are following in our God’s Kids class is titled “Elevate Kids”. Click here if you would like more specific information regarding the curriculum.

Faith Finders follows a curriculum through Life Church, the creators of the Bible App for Kids.  Click here for more specific information regarding the curriculum.

Staff & Volunteers

Sharing Jesus with kids is a great privilege and an awesome responsibility. You need to love Jesus and love His kids. But we do not take these responsibilities lightly, and want you to know He has called you to be a light to each child He brings to your group with your time, your talents, and your consistent behavior. Jesus, and this commitment from you, will draw kids back week to week.

Whether you decide to serve as a Class Leader or Helper, we will do our best to provide you with all you need in order to serve: training, support, encouragement, and lots of prayer.

To serve in Sunday School, please fill out the Youth Volunteer Application and Background Information & Permission Slip and return them to Courtney.  If you are new to The Bridge and would like to join the Sunday School Team, we ask that you first immerse yourself in the culture at The Bridge; get connected and learn about how we do church as a team.  We ask that Teachers attend The Bridge for at least 1 year and Helpers attend for at least 6 months prior to serving in the Sunday School.  Volunteer Applications forms can be found at the church or can be printed here:

Safety & Policies

We understand it can be difficult to leave your children in a new place, and we want to help you through this process. We strive to create a safe, nurturing environment for your children, from birth through seventh grade, where they can have fun learning Biblical truths.

SAFETY AND CHECK-IN

Safety is a big priority here at The Bridge. However, we need your help in maintaining this environment. When taking your child to their age appropriate class please be sure to enter through the main building and check –in at the Kid Check Station. Also, when picking up your child please do not access the classrooms through the outside doors, but through the same hallway where you dropped off.

Our computerized check-in process for all children allows us to make sure that each child is picked up safely and leaves with the right person, as well as alert the teacher to any allergies.  If your child does have a food allergy please be sure to bring it to the teacher’s attention in addition to it being printed on their label at check-in. We ask that cell phone numbers are made available in case a parent needs to be contacted during a service.  For a speedy check-in process we ask that you create an account for your child at: https://go.kidcheck.com/signin.aspx?action=register

For more information about Kid Check check out the video below.

If your child is in diapers please provide a bag labeled with the child’s name that includes diapers and wipes.

All volunteers have successfully completed background checks and are trained to work with the children in their assigned age group.

ILLNESS

Out of respect for our volunteers and other children we maintain a “healthy child” policy for all classes, asking parents to keep sick children at home to prevent spreading illness.  If your child is being treated with antibiotics, he/she should be on the drug for at least 24 hours before coming to class.  If your child has a continually clear, runny nose or rash due to non-contagious allergies, please let us know.  We realize that some symptoms hang on long after the child is no longer contagious.  e want all of our children to remain healthy and happy.

family resources

We do our best to offer every parent that opportunity to participate in The Bridge's Connect Groups, Classes & other spiritual growth opportunities. We understand the expense of childcare can be a deterrent to joining and participating. Because we are committed to the spiritual growth of the whole family we try to reduce obstacles that people face when attempting to connect with other believers by offering reimbursement of childcare expenses. See our Childcare Voucher section for more details.
